Published by Pacific Press Service for the Enchanting Venice exhibition, the book gathers Narahara's long fascination with Venice into a compact sequence of monochrome and color images. Venice becomes a nocturnal theatre of water, stone, masks, reflections, and electric light. Black-and-white photographs of canals, lightning, passages, and piazzas carry the stillness of night, while color images of carnival figures and mirrored interiors bring the city into a theatrical and sensual register. Across 44 pages, Narahara frames Venice as a place where identity dissolves into costume, architecture trembles on water, and time appears as light.
