A Pro’s Self-Portrait Shot with the F-1
If I had, all at once, Kishin Shinoyama’s hair, Takuma Nakahira’s forehead, Ryōji Akiyama’s eyebrows, Kōkō Yokosuka’s eyes, Takayuki Ogawa’s nose, Tetsuya Ichimura’s lips, Masahisa Fukase’s chin, Yutaka Takanashi’s beard, Shin Yanagisawa’s neck, Tenmei Kanō’s chest, Shunji Ōkura’s belly, Kazuo Kitai’s backside, Yoshihiro Tatsuki’s legs, Hajime Sawatari’s voice—and, on top of that, Nobuyoshi Araki’s you-know-what—then I would immediately quit photography and become a movie star. My stage name, needless to say, would be Domon Ken. And then, of course, Canon would come rushing over with an offer to appear in a TV commercial for the F-1.
…Having written this far, it’s so ridiculous that I’ll stop here. By the way, the middle-aged man on the left page who looks rather at a loss—that hopeless fellow is me, Daido Moriyama.
